Martha's Financial Series April - May, 2012
My friend, Martha Mackres, a financial consultant/advisor is offering seminars in April & May. I've attended one of the Merrill Lynch sessions, and they are very informative. Light refreshments are also served.
Here's the list for April May. Note the one coming up this week:

Roller Coaster fantasy in Buenos Aires - Inception Park concepts, in under 2 minutes
Roller coasters, no tracks? Surreal, fun. This would be quite the experience from the balcony views I hope to experience sometime in the next few years > Via my bucket list! My Argentine family would be so amused, as well.

Spring in Winter, Spyder & Gardening January 2012 - a set on Flickr
Spring in winter. Who would've thought I'd be washing the car & gardening (with Gary going for a nice run) on January 8th, 2012?
Nuts about Tech / iPad 2, iPad 1, iPhone > Now using the new iOS. Icebreaker with friends
Among my techie friends, a great ice-breaker and conversation starter is finding all those short-cuts (Easter Eggs) when using the latest OS upgrades on your portables... The window to the world for many independents out there like myself. Pinterest, ScoopIt are two of my latest "curation" applications that integrate well with my iPad and have both business and personal applications.
Top 40, Butterfly House, Niagara Parks 2011 - Photos & Short Videos
This is a portion of a spectacular trip to visit friends in Saint Catherines, Ontario. I had never been to Niagara Falls. This trip to the butterfly house in the area was the icing on the cake.
The movie of my experience at Niagara Falls is in rough cut stage. (Will edit it down when I have a few minutes.)
You can see the rough cut (with the White Water Walk, the gorgeous plantings, the Falls movie clips, the behind the Falls views & photos, here on YouTube.

Up in the air! Piloting for 5 minutes with Pam, Wow!
What a FUN, educational and surprising visit to see Vinny and Pam Palmieri at Promotions-etc.com.
Surprising = 1) up in the air in their Cessna, and
2) Wow, the Tiger corn maze and the University of Michigan Stadium, and
3) I'M ACTUALLY flying the plane, oh my!
If you go to Flickr here, you can click on the slideshow to the upper right and you'll see the whole thing play out, photos and videos, just like I experienced it.
Pam & Vinny have a great business, work with integrity, and share a graceful, happy life enjoying the air. Skydiving brought them together.
They have chosen to be a Michigan business. While visiting, I was treated to:
1) Networking exchange. Pam is supportive of many local businesses in the SE Michigan area and beyond!2) A tour of all that she does. Amazing quality and breadth of promotions. See the video on her Facebook page for Promotions-etc.3) FLYING. Up we go!4) Corn maze tiger and animals, designed for pilots, people of the air to enjoy, and that we did!5) Heading to UM stadium. We could see the scoreboard to navigate from a long way away.6) Great shot of the stadium, and video too. Exciting!7) Wow, I'M FLYING!!!All in all, AWESOME fun!

Parasailing & Ultimate Adventure, Key West Fury Style! from Deb Nystrom on Vimeo.
The Fury Watersports people in Key West bill this water tour as the Ultimate Adventure. Well, for me, it is!
I'm not a strong swimmer, and cannot tread water, but challenged myself to do the snorkeling. What a personal achievement for me, being able to enjoy the coral reef schools of fish and avoid (and enjoy) the moon jellyfish.
THE HIGHLIGHT of the entire cruise vacation (Royal Caribbean Bahamas, Key West) was my first parasail takeoff. Wow! And a peaceful glide over the turquoise ocean. We had an extra dip or two as well! All of us on the parasail boat seemed to be having great fun.
If you hover your mouse pointer over the videos or slides while they are playing, you can also click on the arrows to expand them to full screen.
All the best to the fabulous Fury crew and management who made it well organized, and FUN for us! Fury Girl (the social media Facebook blogger a 'la Key West) put a cool comment about my stuff here on their Facebook page. Check it out!
This was the first cruise that Geri and I had ever done. We are both friends with Sophia. This cruise was a special celebration of her 40th birthday. How great to do a cruise with the fabulous Sophia and all that went with it!
My Flickr photo set, including some video clips, of our cruise to Nassau, the Bahamas, before Hurricane Irene, and my new favorite: Key West, walking around, taking a pedicab, and including the terrific day of water fun via Fury Watersports with some additional video clips is below.
This is the Key West photos set, with Fury's "Ultimate Adventure" in the 2nd half.
Below is the full set of photos from the entire Royal Caribbean 4 day cruise on Majesty of the Seas. It was awesome! The food was great! AND, I did NOT gain weight. (Doing Jazzercise on the boat and dancing 2 nights away until the wee hours really helped!)
If you'd like to see the version with captions for each photo or mini-video, go to flickr.com. Click on slideshow on the upper right for an option to see it all scroll by as well, on Flickr.
I've left a review on TripAdvisor with my review and a few photos too.

Horseplay Leadership Experience 2011 - A Taste of...
It wouldn't be fair, in my view, to share what is custom to each leader, team, group or individual. However, this is a taste of what is really quite extraordinary in what Christina and Lynne offer to groups & organizations. I'm thinking my coaching clients would also benefit.
